Requirements:

• Must have the experience in playing the Piano, Keyboard, Organ for Catholic church setting.

• Musicians shall be musically proficient on their specific instrument, proficient in reading music and possess experience performing in religious worship settings.

• Must possess sufficient experience playing their specific musical instruments appropriate at public worship services.

• Preferably with 2 years’ experience but requirement can be waived by the COR upon senior installation Chaplain’s review and approval of key personnel resumes. Any request for waiver must address how the proposed musician’s knowledge, skills, education, or training prepared the musician to perform the tasks satisfactorily in the absence of the two years of relevant experience.

• Must provide a resume that identifies personnel’s professional and spiritual understanding of church music, determined by a history of working specifically in the development of musical worship plans.

• Must be able to lead the congregation in singing.

• Must be able to communicate effectively.

• Must submit and pass the background check.
