About the Role
Schedule: Sunday weekly service at 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. (or time scheduled by Catholic Chaplain) and 1 weekly rehearsal
Requirements
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma.
Must have at least two years of experience leading or playing music in a chapel or church.
Must be able to lead various forms of music commonly found in Catholic worship.
Must be able to read music and have knowledge of vocal harmony.
Must have the ability to play lead instruments (i.e. piano/keyboard and/or guitar).
Must have experience in providing accompaniment for volunteer praise teams and solo vocalists as needed.
Must have experience in recruiting and directing volunteers for praise teams, choirs, choral groups and other appropriate musical groups.
Must submit and pass a background check.
